Re: Labor Day caching

I've had a change of plan and will still be out of town, so I'm going to have to bow out on this. Hope you all have fun, and I'll forward to next time!

Allegheny Indian Waters Geotrail, anyone?

Logsplitter1, whom most of you don't know but he's a cacher from Ambridge, is talking to me about organizing a trip up to do this: http://www.alleghenyindianwaters.com/geotrail.html I know it's out of our area, and I'm not clear on what he has in mind, but if we do make a trip up there... would any ...

Re: Labor Day caching

I think Monday is the day in question, maybe morningish or beginning in the morning?
All other days are out for me. But I think that's what we're discussing.

Re: Labor Day caching

I think both of those sound like great ideas for caches to me. Unfortunately I need to withdraw my offer of making the runlist. I wasn't thinking when I asked about that... I'm going to be out of town without internet almost all the rest of this week, and the little bit of time that I won't... I nee...

Re: Labor Day caching

As it turns out, I will be around, so I'm definitely up for this. Should I work on a possible runlist? Do we want to target more urban caches, or more in the mountains around Altoona? Given the huge number of caches in that area, if everyone posts caches they would particularly like to hit, that cou...

Re: Cool cache for milestone?

All of the correct information is available online. Try using a combination of Google Maps, Bing Maps and Wikipedia. Crystal is so close that I'd say she is only off on here minutes, thousandth digit... probably on the latitude. Andrew Yeah... what I mean is that I think she'd need some incorrect i...

Re: needing more caches...

No offense, but I fully expect one of the honorary JAGA members from State College area in a yellow Hummer to be first to find on a 5/4 in Bedford area..... LOL. Lol. Well, hey, they've come to a number of our events, so they might be more than honorary members, depending on how it's defined. I am ...

Re: JAGA Placed and Maintained Caches

Hmm... I think this is list is probably out of dated for my caches & Megplant caches... I'll have to work on giving you an update... maybe after our next few hides.

Re: Cool cache for milestone?

The really sad thing- or not so sad thing?- is that I had already thought of this solving method and started on it but was thrown off by the Fort Pitt tunnels and one other. Part of the problem is that the cache (unless it's been changed) is based on outdated info regarding the Fort Pitt Tunnels. A...
